Call of Duty 2024 marketing is starting to fire up with Microsoft revealing, what appears to be, the very first official teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War, or Black Ops V. The next Call of Duty game will be revealed very, very soon.
This is the very first piece of intel we have with regards to the next Black Ops game that has allegedly been in development by veteran studio Treyarch for nearly 4 years.
The above image was shared on Twitter by the official Microsoft Xbox account. It appears to tease some kind of announcement after the Xbox Games Showcase happening on June 9, 2024.
We know that the wolf and colour scheme is connected to the Call of Duty: Black Ops universe so it is safe to say that it is going to be the world wide reveal of Black Ops V.
Twitter user @TheGhostofHope has shared what they think the REDACTED text of the image shows. The artwork appears to show Call of Duty at the top, Black Ops V in the middle and the Activision logo at the bottom right.
The Xbox Games Showcase is happening on June 9 and this announcement will immediately follow the event. It is extremely likely that this will be the official reveal of the next Black Ops game given the intel we have at this time.
Black Ops V will reportedly be set during the Gulf War during the 1990's and a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that released in 2020.
