Call of Duty 2025 Zombies leaks have already begun and it will allegedly feature Round-Based and Outbreak Zombies. The next Call of Duty title is expected to launch later in the year around October or November time. Already leaks and rumours are swirling online about what type of game we can expect.
So far, most of the leaks point towards a direct sequel to Black Ops 6 with Black Ops 7, but it will likely take us into the future, rather than the past, like the previous Black Ops titles. In fact, Black Ops 7 is being heralded as a spiritual sequel to Black Ops II, which at the time of it's release was futuristic but is now set in the present day, as of 2025.
Call of Duty 2025 Will Allegedly Feature Round-Based and Outbreak Zombies
It was recently reported by reputable gaming news firm, Insider Gaming, that the next Black Ops game will again feature Zombies. This time we can expect more Round-Based Zombies maps, and possibly the return of open-world mode, Outbreak, last seen in Black Ops Cold War.
Call of Duty 2025 Zombies Maps
It is alleged that the next Call of Duty game will feature a total of 6 maps for Zombies. One set in a post-war New York after the Nazi's dropped an atomic bomb on the city and another set in a Japanese temple at the base of a volcano. Other possible map locations include Vietnam, Afghanistan, and a space station in the Dark Aether.
Call of Duty 2025 is also expected to feature the "biggest zombies map" to date with it's own "TranZit-style" transportation system. Which leads us to believe that Outbreak Zombies is also returning with the game after a 5 year break from the franchise.
Treyarch seem to be returning to their roots with more whacky, out-there, locations for their zombies maps, as we saw under former Zombies boss Jason Blundell.
Other Call of Duty 2025 Details
As always, we are dealing with leaks, which should always be taken with a pinch of salt, but Call of Duty 2025 is expected to be a spiritual sequel to the "futuristic" Black Ops II. Another rumour that may peak some players interest is the inclusion of the classic original Zombies Crew, likely returning with the game.
It is also reported that Grief mode, the mode that see's players battle against the undead and each other, may also return with the next Zombies game, but rumours of this mode coming back have been connected to nearly every Call of Duty Zombies game.
Call of Duty 2025 is still quite a few months away so this information could be wrong, things can, and have, changed in the past so always take these posts with a pinch of salt.
