Modern Warfare III and Warzone dataminers have found references to Warhammer 40k in the game files following the release of Season 1 Reloaded, suggesting a collaboration is on the cards.
Call of Duty has most recently seen huge success with their collaboration with the hit Amazon TV Show, The Boys. Now, rumors suggest that the popular gaming franchise might be teaming up with the biggest table top game on the market.
Dataminer 'CODWarfareForum' has revealed a series of posts showcasing game files that reference Warhammer 40k.
According to CODwarfareForum, Warhammer 40k themed Operator skins for Modern Warfare III and Warzone could be coming soon after he found a loading screen in the game files showing characters from the Warhammer universe.
These Operator skins include Primarch of the Dark Angels, Interrogator-Chaplin Boreas, and Helewise, Adeptas Sororitas according to FumoLeaksMk1.
Other evidence of this crossover comes in the form of Medals that appear to be attached to an in-game Event in Modern Warfare III and Warzone. Warhammer Boss names such as the Baton Jailer, Fenbeast, and Orgre Butcher also appeared in the datamined information that could be linked to a Modern Warfare Zombie event or future update.
None of this information is confirmed and no release date, if there will be one, has been revealed. Datamined leaks are always subject to change or cancellations.
