Black Ops 6 Campaign Details
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It is set during the 1991 Gulf War. Frank Woods will return as one of the main characters, although now wheelchair-bound after his run-in with Raul Menendez.
“While the Gulf War commands the global spotlight, a shadowy clandestine force has infiltrated the highest levels of the CIA, branding anyone who resists as traitors. Exiled from their agency and country that once hailed them as heroes, Black Ops veteran Frank Woods and his team find themselves hunted by the military machine that created them.” - Black Ops 6 Official Description
As we previously stated, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will directly follow-on the storyline of Cold War but it will also tie into Black Ops 2 with flashback sequences and missions.
Will Modern Warfare 3 Content Carry Forward into Black Ops 6?
The short answer is no. Content from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will not Carry Forward into Black Ops 6. Weapons, Skins, Camos, etc. will remain tied to Modern Warfare 3 and will not be available in BO6.
That being said, Carry Forward will be available for Call of Duty: Warzone when Black Ops 6 integrates with the Battle Royale mode later in the year, this means you will still be able to use your weapons, skins, camos, and more.
New and Returning Features in Black Ops 6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will see some major new and returning features arrive when it launches later this year.
Classic Prestige System Returns
The Classic Call of Duty Prestige system will return in Black Ops 6, allowing players to show off their unique badges for each Prestige. There will be 10 Prestige with 55 military ranks for each. Once all 10 Prestige are completed players can reach Master Prestige level 1000.
Black Ops 6 UI Changes
Several changes to UI are expected in Black Ops 6 after fans complained about the overly complex UI of both Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3. One of these changes includes the option to edit HUD in-game.
Black Ops 6 Maps
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will feature 16 maps at launch, 12 of which are 6v6 battlegrounds of various sizes. The remaining 4 maps will be Strike maps, which are much smaller.
These maps will feature the classic "three lane design" according to devs, that will "keep the action flowing" while playing Black Ops 6.
Black Ops 6 Loadouts
BO6 will feature loadouts with Primary Weapons, Secondary Weapons, a dedicated Melee Weapon, Lethal, Tactical, and an Field Upgrade. Players can take advantage of 3 Perks and Perk Specialty. Wildcards will also return in Black Ops 6.
Weapons will have up-to 5 attachments but can be extended to 8 with the use of a Wildcard.
What is Omnimovement in Black Ops 6?
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Omnimovement will allow players to slide, dive, and sprint in any direction. This new feature will give players more options than ever when it comes to finessing enemies or reaching cover.

Black Ops 6 Game Engine
Following the trend of Modern Warfare 2, Warzone, and Modern Warfare 3 - Black Ops 6 will be developed under "one unified engine". Which is an advanced version of the IW Engine.
General Manager Johanna Faries confirmed that the same engine will be used in an article for the Washington Post. Faries did then go on to say that although the games now share an engine, they will look and feel different, so Treyarch games will feel like Treyarch games and Infinite Ward games will feel like Infinity Ward games.
