Footage from a canceled futuristic Call of Duty game has surfaced online. The unreleased Call of Duty title was in development at Neversoft studios before it was canned in favour of Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The futuristic Call of Duty game footage shows soldiers battling on the moon, having to deal with low gravity and other space-like dangers.
Although we have since had future COD games like Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare, this game would have been the first Call of Duty set in the future and in space.
Neversoft was founded in July, 1994 and worked on games like the Tony Hawk's series, Gun, Guitar Hero and Call of Duty games. Neversoft was shut down and merged with Infinity Ward in 2014.
Being being made defunct, Neversoft supported the production of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011) and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
