This is a quick guide on how to obtain a FREE Ray Gun by completing a Side Easter Egg in The Tomb for Black Ops 6 Zombies. For completing this Easter Egg you'll receive a FREE Ray Gun, 1000 Essence and a piece of Intel for The Tomb.
The Tomb is the latest Black Ops 6 Zombies map that launched with the Season 02 update. It contains a multitude of secrets for players to find and complete to earn cool rewards like free Perks, free, Pack-a-Punch upgrades, Aether Tools, and more. One of these side Quests will get you a FREE Ray Gun.
FREE Ray Gun Side Easter Egg The Tomb
Step 1 - Obtain a Shovel
The first step to this side Easter Egg is to obtain a Shovel. These are found all over the map. You can locate one fairly easy as they have a bright white outline, making them stand out. You'll find a shovel in nearly every area of the map.
Step 2 - Obtain the Death Perception Perk
Now, the bright green Ancient Gems will drop without Death Perception but it is incredibly rare for this to happen. You'll need to buy or obtain the Death Perception Perk to make this a viable Easter Egg to run every game.
Once you have the Death Perception the Ancient Gems will drop at a drastically increased rate, from my experience they will drop every 2 to 3 digs meaning you'll only need to find between 6 to 9 Dig Piles to collect all 3 Gems required for this Easter Egg.
Step 3 - DIG!
Once you have located a Shovel and obtained the Death Perception Perk, you'll need to dig at Dig Piles across The Tomb. Again, these are incredibly common and multiple are found in each location across the map.
What are we looking for? We need to collect 3 Ancient Gems from these Dig Piles. They are big and bright green so very hard to miss. When they pop out of the ground you'll need to interact with it to collect it. Collect 3 to move on to the next step.
Step 4 - Place the Ancient Gems in the Wall
Within the Death Perception Perk Machine room you will see a wall with a statue. Interact with this statue and all 3 gems will be placed around it's head. This starts the next and final step of the Easter Egg.
At this point a small animation will play around the statue and some Doppleghausts and Zombies will spawn. These Special Zombies are much tankier than normal but you are free to move any where in the map whilst taking them down making it easier.
Step 5 - Collect your Rewards
Once you have taken out the Doppleghausts head back to the statue location where you placed the Ancient Gems and you'll find that 1000 Essence, a piece of Intel, and the Ray Gun have dropped onto the floor.
