Modern Warfare III Season 1 will introduce several new Weapons through the Battle Pass and challenges in-season. One of these new weapons is the Stormender Launcher. The Stormender is an EMP Launcher that can take down Killstreaks, Disable Equipment and more.
This new weapon will be available to use in Modern Warfare III Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone.
The Stormender Launcher can be unlocked by completing Season 1 Battle Pass Sectors. Specifically, Sector A12 of the Battle Pass which is tucked away in the top left corner of the pass.
Blackcell owners will be able to instantly unlock it with their Bonus Tier Skips at the launch of Season 1 on December 6 from the Blackcell starting point. If you aren't a fan of the Blackcell system then you'll need to earn 25 Tier Tokens to unlock it from the general starting point.
As previously stated, this new launcher utilizes EMP technology which is perfect for taking down Killstreaks, Equipment and Vehicles. It appears to do very little damage to enemy Operators and it's effectiveness against the Undead in Zombies remains to be see.
It is worth noting that within Modern Warfare Zombies there is a boss called 'Stormcaller'. Could 'Stormender' be the perfect weapon to take him out?
