How to Unlock the Trail Blazer Operator Skin in the Return to Verdansk Event

This is a quick guide on how to unlock the Trail Blazer Operator Skin in the Return to Verdansk Event for Warzone Season 03. The Trail Blazer Operator Skin is a brand-new skin for Caine that can only be unlocked in the Return to Verdansk event that is happening right now.

How to Unlock the Trail Blazer Operator Skin in the Return to Verdansk Event

To complete the Return to Verdansk Event you need to travel all over Verdansk opening Safes across 12 different regions. Once you have opened a Safe in all 12 regions you will have unlocked 12 unique rewards, and an addition reward, the Kali Sticks.

But there is also a "SECRET" reward that players can unlock, the Trail Blazer Operator Skin for Caine. Now, this is proving to be a little tricky for some players, ourselves included. The odds of opening a Safe that includes the skin seem to be astronomically low.

We personally spent roughly 10 hours finding and opening Safes across Verdansk, amounting to easily over 400 Safes before the skin popped up. Some players have gotten extremely lucky and discovered the Skin after a handful of Safes while others have spent days searching and found nothing.

This Skin truly is an RNG nightmare but if you have the determination (or sheer luck) to get this skin then we've got a few tips for you.

Battle Royale Casual

First of all we'd highly recommend you Safe search in Battle Royale Casual, these lobbies fill up with bots who are pretty bad at eliminating you and are completely uninterested in the Safes, making it way easy to get around the map without any kind of trouble.

Helicopter

Secondly you'll want to secure a Helicopter to get around the map from Safe location to Safe location as fast as possible. Verdansk has plenty, at least one in every major region.

Squad-Up

Our third tip is to try get a squad together for the hunt. Our tactic was running a 4-man squad who would split up each match and search different regions either alone or in pairs. This means you cover way more ground faster.

If and when you get lucky enough to get the Operator Skin, you'll be notified in several different ways that its been unlocked. If you are the person who opens the Safe it will be glowing orange on the inside and fireworks will shoot out of the top of it.

You'll also see an on-screen notification that lets you know that you (and your entire squad) have received the reward. This notification will show to every player in the lobby so they'll know you got it too.

This secret reward is completely RNG based, it doesn't require skill or knowledge, just the ability to mindlessly find and open safes for extended periods of time, or not, depending how lucky you get.
