Two classic Call of Duty weapons are returning in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 02 on January 28th, 2025. The next seasonal update for Call of Duty is just around the corner and Activision has teased two upcoming weapons you might have come across before.
Last week Treyarch teased the return of an "iconic SMG" from Zombies history. It is now confirmed that this returning SMG will be the classic World War II-era PPSh-41 via an official Call of Duty post teasing what's to come with Season 02.
Classic Weapons Returning in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 02
The PPSh-41 is a submachine gun featured in all the World War II-based Call of Duty games that have a Soviet campaign, as well as in Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops (Nintendo DS), Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: WWII, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
In addition to the PPSh-41, the FN FAL has also been teased in the same teaser image.
The FN FAL is an assault rifle featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and Call of Duty: Mobile.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 02 will release on Tuesday, January 28th. It is unclear at this time how players will unlock the PPSh-41 and FAL. If we were to make an educated guess we'd predict they will both be available in the Season 02 Battle Pass.
