Call of Duty have confirmed the release date for Verdansk for Warzone Season 03 launch on April 3, 2025. Verdansk was officially announced as returning to Warzone late last year by Call of Duty and Activision but no concrete release date was set. That has changed as of today.
Rumours have been circulating for weeks now that Verdansk would be returning in Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 03. It seems that those rumours, amongst other rumours including returning weapons and operators, are now confirmed to be correct.
Verdansk Release Date Confirmed
Verdansk is now confirmed to be releasing on April 3, 2025 with Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 03. Recent rumours have also (mostly) been confirmed with the release of the Verdansk teaser trailer.
Previously we reported that the Grau 5.56, CR-56 AMAX, HDR, and Kilo 141 from Modern Warfare (2019) would all be returning to Call of Duty with the next update. These have now been confirmed (except the Grau 5.56) as coming with the next Seasonal update.
Other rumours included the reintroduction of Roze, Mace, and Domino, all classic Modern Warfare Operators that were involved with Warzone at launch. Domino has of today been confirmed, thanks to the Verdansk teaser video.
The teaser also shows us that the classic Little Bird helicopter will return, a fan-favourite vehicle from the old days of Verdansk. How this might have been changed is unknown at this time.
