It was announced earlier this week by Raven Software that the Champions Quest, the challenge to unlock and deploy a Nuke in Warzone, was being nerfed. Players who have already unlocked the related rewards are pissed.
Previously players had to win 5 matches of Warzone in a row and then follow various steps to collect pieces of the Nuke in a match while being hunted by the entire lobby trying to stop them.
With this weeks update, Raven has scrapped the initial 5 wins in a row part of the quest. That means that any team can now go straight for the Nuke contract in a match of Warzone and blow everyone else to hell much easier.
It is unclear if this is a permanent change by the developers of Warzone or just an incentive to drive up players before the end of Season 03 and the rewards reset to a new selection.
