Call of Duty will release Warzone 'Classic' coming in Season 03 - Players can expect the original Verdansk, Weapons, and Operators to return in the upcoming third Season for Black Ops 6.
Verdansk was confirmed late last year to be returning to Call of Duty: Warzone in early 2025. Leaks and rumours suggest that Verdansk will arrive with the Season 03 update on March 20th, just after the Battle Royale's 5th anniversary on March 10th. But, the rumour mill is suggesting a little bit more than just the map returning.
Warzone 'Classic' Coming in Season 03 - Original Verdansk, Weapons, and Operators Return
Not only is Verdansk, in its almost original form, returning to rotation in Warzone, but some classic Weapons and Operators might appear too.

With the MP5 and KAR98K technically already in the game thanks to Black Ops 6 and Modern Warfare III respectively, nearly all of the major weapons from the original days of Warzone will reportedly be available in the game.
Returning Operators
In addition to this, it is reported that Operator Roze, who was somewhat controversial the first time around thanks to her all-black outfit, will also return with the Verdansk update. As always these are rumours and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
But, if it is true and Roze does return we can probably expect a handful more of the Operators to launch too - our primary concern with this as it stands is that there is a chance these weapons and Operators are locked behind a paywall via Bundles. With player sentiment at an all-time low, we feel that offering these items to new and returning players would be a huge gesture of goodwill, rather than another cash grab.

Call of Duty and Activision have been radio silent about the return of Verdansk, which may concern some players but we believe that they truly just want to surprise the fans with an exciting update to try bring some users back to the mode.
Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 03 is expected on March 20th, so we won't have to wait much longer to find out more about the validity of these leaks/rumours.
